FLAMENCO
SUNDAY
first Sunday of the month
Come Join Us!
Flamenco Sunday IS an opportunity.
- To be in Community -- to dance together outside of the classroom
or show performance,
Flamenco Sunday is a way to create community with other flamenco
lovers.
- To Practice -- Flamenco Sunday provides a fun and supportive environment
to practice what
we are learning in our classes or to try out new repertoire.
- To Let Go -- of our fear of dancing, singing, and playing flamenco
in front of others; to loosen
up outside of the classroom situation
To enjoy — an informal fiesta with fellow Bay Area flamencos
through sharing food, drink, and flamenco!
We
come together the first Sunday afternoon of every month at different
people’s homes throughout the
Bay Area to play, sing and dance bulerias, tangos, sevillanas…
Flamenco lovers of ALL levels and stages
are welcome to join -- dancers, guitarist, singers, aficionados!
Bring a dish to share.
